Construction AI Software Gets Boost with New Features

The first new feature is wall classification, which automatically detects and labels the types of walls in blueprints, like if it’s a bathroom, corridor, shaft, interior or exterior wall. The second new feature allows the user to overlay an older version of plans with updated ones, identifying key changes and quantifying these changes. Missing these changes in the plans can lead to some of the costliest mistakes in construction, bringing the savings and value of Togal even higher.

Before Togal, estimators measured the square footage of rooms manually with rollers and rulers, or by dragging a computer mouse over each area to label it. The software also has Area ML Classification, which automatically detects and names room types, like whether a space is a closet, bathroom, hallway, or kitchen.
Plans for major projects can be hundreds of pages, taking weeks to complete. Togal finishes those jobs in mere seconds, so estimators can focus on helping clients save money and build better jobs.
