New Construction A.I. Software Adds Big Feature
MIAMI, FLORIDA – With demand for AI in construction growing quickly, a revolutionary software is adding another significant feature that will continue to transform the industry. Togal.ai uses machine learning to automatically calculate the square footage of plans. Now the software is launching a new feature called Area ML Classification, which auto-detects and labels the type of each room.
“For big projects, this is a huge time saver. We are taking weeks of work and compressing it into seconds. With labor shortages and construction delays, this type of innovation is needed now more than ever,” Togal AI CEO Patrick Murphy said.
Before Togal, estimators measured the square footage of rooms manually with rollers and rulers, or by dragging a computer mouse over each area to label it. Plans for major projects can be hundreds of pages, taking weeks to complete. Togal finishes those jobs in mere seconds.
“Togal is getting great reviews, and we’re making it even better. Area ML Classification uses machine learning algorithms to automatically detect and name room types, like whether a space is a closet, bathroom, hallway, or kitchen. This allows users to complete bids much faster, with 99 percent accuracy,” Murphy explained.
By saving time with auto-detection, estimators can focus on helping clients save money and build better jobs. Available on Procore and Bluebeam, Togal is the ultimate tool to augment the human estimator and allow them to do more with less.
Togal has been featured in Engineering News-Record (ENR), The Real Deal, Construction Dive, Construction Executive, the South Florida Business Journal, Florida Trend, Florida Construction News, Construction Equipment Guide, Constructech, Tribe, Cafecito Talk with Miami Mayor Francis Suarez and other outlets and publications.
